Volunteer With Us

Community Lunch volunteers participate in every aspect of our meals. Volunteers help chop ingredients, make sandwiches, bag snacks, serve the meal, set up and take down the dining area and kitchen.

All are welcome to volunteer with us, and no special skills are required. Volunteers work with us on a regular basis, once a month, or just for a day. 

What do volunteers do?

Some common tasks for volunteers:

• Chop meat and veggies

• Make sandwiches

• Bag snacks

• Sort donations (ex. food, clothing, and toiletries)

• Serve the meal

We host volunteer groups!

Gather some friends, your church congregation, a school group or your company staff together to volunteer. Serving a meal at Community Lunch is a great team-building activity. Please email volunteer@communitylunch.org for additional information on volunteering as a group.
